I know that many of you who will read this are far more Internet savvy and schooled in the funnies that the Internet has to offer than I. For those of you who are not, let me share something with you.
I read an article last night from an author I subscribe to on my google reader who writes tech articles mostly. He's smart and techy, which I appreciate, but really I love his articles because he is witty and real. His recent article was about The Culture of the Internet. In it he talks about things that everyone should have done or seen on the Internet to "qualify as a Web-savvy person"
Obviously, I checked into a few of the items and this one had me ROTBL-ing (bed because I didn't actually get down on the floor to laugh) It is something I hadn't heard of called Literal Lyrics. It is "where someone records new lyrics to an existing video that refer literally to the action or the filming of the video itself." As with most things, especially videos, on the Internet that are super funny, there are a few slightly inappropriate moments. Enjoy.
I will be checking out this list again when I have more time. Thanks, David Pogue.
